RISK MANAGEMENT REGISTRATION PROCESS
It is the responsibility of every club to ensure full compliance with the WYSA Risk Management Policy throughout their organization. Clubs add staff members directly to the seasonal year in PlayMetrics. Once a staff member is added, any individual who needs to complete risk management requirements will automatically receive an email with instructions. No additional steps needed by the club at this point. Clubs are then responsible for reviewing and verifying all staff in the system.
Please note: There is no longer a separate “registration” step after staff are added. Once a staff member is added and verified, their registration is complete.
How to complete your RM requirements as a member.
SAFESPORT CERTIFICATION
- SafeSport certification is required for Risk Management approval
- SafeSport certification or refresher must be completed annually
- WYSA does not require completion of the full Safe Soccer course found in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center. We only require SafeSport, which is accessible within the Learning Center.
- To ensure automatic syncing to PlayMetrics, staff must use the same email address in both systems.
- Do not complete a background check in the Learning Center
