Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Brandon Wachholz to the role of State Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA). The SYRA also assumes an active seat on the State Referee Committee (WisRef). In this position, Brandon’s immediate focus will be to support the grassroots referee needs of Wisconsin Youth Soccer and the State Referee Committee.

Wachholz has a professional background in education complimented by a diverse resume in soccer. His broad experiences as a Grade 7 Referee, U.S. Soccer Referee Assignor, Referee Coach & Instructor, Referee Mentor, MISOA Referee, WIAA Licensed Official, USSF National C License Coach and Wisconsin Olympic Development Staff Coach will be invaluable to his new role as SYRA. 

Together with WYSA and WisRef Brandon will help drive Key Referee Initiatives to support and benefit the membership of both organizations.
