ODP State Pool FAQs
Pool Selections
Players in all birth years must complete the tryout process to be selected to a Wisconsin ODP State Pool. The ODP Head Coach and Age Group Coaches may select one or two pools per birth year. All Pool formation is based on player registration.
The participation fee for those making a State Pool is $285. This will cover training from November through March (approximately two per month).
Team Selections
Following pool trainings, teams will be selected for each birth year. One state team of 18 athletes (2008, 16 athletes) will be selected from the pool in mid-April for further programming. WI ODP will play in a 3 day tournament vs. states in the region. Expect a minimum of 3 games and 1 training session. For athletes making the Wisconsin State Teams, an additional estimated fee for this event is approximately $450 (covers transportation/meals/lodging/etc.)
For those players selected to the Midwest Region Identification Camp, there will be additional fees issued by the Midwest Region Administration.
Thank you to the Brett Wiesner Scholarship Fund for assisting to keep programming costs low.
