ODP Announces 2010-2011 Tryout Schedule
Wisconsin ODP has announced the tryout schedule for the upcoming 2010-2011 season for all players in the 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 birth years. The two session tryouts were held at Voigt Soccer Park in Brookfield, WI on August 1, and Reddan Soccer Park in Verona, WI on August 8.

Tryout Dates:    
August 1 - Voight Soccer Park (Brookfield, WI)
August 8 - Reddan Soccer Park (Verona, WI)

Late Tryouts:    
November 7 - site TBA (Milwaukee, WI)

Division I Soccer Programs Tap Olympic Development Players

(August 2010) This fall, the four NCAA Division I soccer programs in the state of Wisconsin have rostered over 30 players from the Wisconsin Olympic Development program. Many of these players found their way into the college ranks with the help of WI ODP, and proudly list it in their player biographies. We offer our thanks and congratulations, as well as our best wishes for a successful season to all teams and all additional WI ODP players playing at Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools around the state of Wisconsin and outside of the state. Everything You Wanted to Know About ODP

Wisconsin Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) is affiliated with US Youth Soccer and its national Olympic Development Program. The program was established in 1977 to identify players of the highest caliber on a continuing and consistent basis, to achieve increased success for the U.S. National Teams in the international arena. WI Players Identified for Regional & National Soccer Pools

When you watch the United States Women’s and Men’s soccer teams take the pitch in the Olympics or in the World Cup, you might wonder what path led to those players being identified for possible inclusion in those elite groups?
