Everything You Wanted to Know About ODP
Wisconsin Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) is affiliated with US Youth Soccer and its national Olympic Development Program. The program was established in 1977 to identify players of the highest caliber on a continuing and consistent basis, to achieve increased success for the U.S. National Teams in the international arena. WI Players Identified for Regional & National Soccer Pools
When you watch the United States Women’s and Men’s soccer teams take the pitch in the Olympics or in the World Cup, you might wonder what path led to those players being identified for possible inclusion in those elite groups? Over two hundred and fifty young soccer players from Wisconsin may have begun that journey as a result of participation in the US Youth Soccer Region II Olympic Development Program (ODP) camps and tournament in Rockford, Illinois, last month. Boys and Girls Spring Developmental Training
The 1996 and 1997 Boys and Girls ODP Developmental Training is a “no-cut” program to foster and improve all players' abilities. Spring training will begin in late March and early April in Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton/Green Bay and Stevens Point districts. Pre-registration at the above sites as a "new player" is encouraged and can be done online.
Pre-register online to save the $15.00 late/on-site fee.
