Spring State Championships Play In Games
Schedule
Age Groups:
U13-U19 Boys and U13, U14, U19 Girls
Winners of these age groups will join the girls U15-U18 winners at the Region II Championships in Des Moines, Iowa from June 21-26, 2013.

Play-in Games
The WYSA will be scheduling all play-in games. If selected for play-in game your team will be expected to play on either April 27 or April 28. All of the games will be played at USA Youth in Appleton. No exceptions will be given, if your team is unable to play a forfeit will be awarded.

Required State Championships Forms - Please Read
The forms required for participation have also been changed. The official State stamped team roster is to be brought to registration at State Championships before your FIRST game. This form must be signed by all players who expect to participate in the 2012/2013 event. Please include a copy of each roster that shows the name of any player used under the “club pass” provision.
The team manager and coach will be expected to sign and complete the following forms; Team Information, Eligibility form, Code of Conduct and the Game Day Roster.

Team Information Form
These forms must be presented by the team representative at the designated “team check in” area at the tournament venue 45 minutes prior to the first scheduled game.
Teams that are scheduled to participate in a play in game must bring copies of the four forms to the Play In Game, and give to the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Official and if there is not one, give to the referees. The play in game victor must then present the original form to the “team check in” area at the tournament venue. The game day roster and player passes must be presented to the match official prior to all play in games. Remember the payment to the referee must be made before the start of the play in game. In addition the manager or coach must have in their possession the player medical consent forms and Waiver of Liability at all times.

We have created an email subscription list for the State Championships. All communications regarding the tournament will be sent by email only. All team managers are required to subscribe to the State Championships Email List. Others wishing to receive email updates on the State Championships tournament are invited to subscribe to the State Championships email subscription list as well.

Wisconsin State Champions Crowned
The WYSA State Champions representing Wisconsin at the Midwest Regional Championships in Saginaw, Michigan were victorious in their finals games on Sunday. There, they will compete against the state champions from 13 other states in the Midwest for the right to play at the National Championships in South Carolina. State Champions named are:
U13 Boys – KASL United FC Red (Kenosha)
U13 Girls – FC Milwaukee 13G Blue (Milwaukee)
U14 Boys – North Shore United (Cedarburg)
U14 Girls – Mequon United U14 Girls Premier (Mequon)
U15 Boys – United FC (3) (Kenosha)
U16 Boys – Everton 95/96 Boys (Greenville)
U17 Boys – SC Waukesha Pumas (Waukesha)
U18 Boys – Elm Grove Blues (Elm Grove)

“These teams successfully competed in some of the closest Wisconsin Championships in recent history.” said Peter Mariahazy, WYSA president. “These teams will proudly represent Wisconsin in Michigan at the Midwest Regional Championships. For most this is their first visit to Regionals, and a once in a lifetime experience for the players, coaches and families.”
