Fall 2012 Application
Application Deadline: March 1

Club Notification Date: March 15

Program Overview: Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) is establishing, beginning in fall 2012, the WYSA Developmental Academy U11-U14 Boys & Girls. Inclusion in this league will be club-based rather than team-based. To be considered for participation, clubs will need to meet certain requirements for accreditation and maintain standards that ensure sustainability, transparency and accountability. Most importantly, a safe and constructive playing, working and learning environment for players, officials and coaches

Acceptance Requirements:

1. Club Director of Coaching or designee with a minimum of a USSF ‘C’ License

2. U11 through U14 coaches with a minimum of a USSF ‘D’ License

3. Ability to field at least one team at each age group, (U11 through U14)

4. WYSA Code of Conduct signed by players, parents and coaches

5. Field/facilities that are safe and meet quality standards established by the WYSA DOC’s

6. In good-standing with the WYSA

Please Note:

Clubs can be considered for acceptance if they do not meet all of the above requirements. Clubs accepted but not meeting all of the requirements will be put on probation and given a specific time frame to get in compliance. Also a club can participate in both Boys & Girls or only Boys or Girls.

WYSA Developmental Academy Rules (TBA)
The Wisconsin Youth Soccer Developmental Academy League commission will meet to determine and finalize the rules for the Fall 2012 season.

Other Important Dates:

April 18: Organizational Meeting

May 9: Organizational Meeting

June 9 or 10: Scheduling Meeting

July 9: Fall schedules are due

August 11-12: Developmental Academy League play can begin

November 3-4: Play Date, encourage all clubs to attend (Location TBA)
