Meeting Information
The 2010 Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Saturday, March 13 at the Comfort Suites Milwaukee Airport (6362 South 13 St; Milwaukee, WI 53154).
Registration and continental breakfast start at 8:00am. The meeting will begin promptly at 9:00am followed by lunch at 11:45. Active Network will be on site and presenting League One sessions throughout the day. Other educational opportunities are planned from 2:00 – 3:30pm.
Accommodations
A limited number of rooms are available at a discounted rate of $84.00 for Friday evening. Call 414-570-1111 for reservations and ask for the “WYSA rate”. Note that after Wednesday, March 10, the WYSA room block will be released and discounted rates may no longer be available.
Voting
All affiliated clubs are asked to assure that the most up to date contact information is on record with the State Office. Please keep in mind, votes of a member club, in “Good Standing” may be cast only by the President of that member Club OR their designee. As Club President, you may assign your vote to an appointed club delegate who will attend the 2010 Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association AGM. Conditions of this assignment are detailed on the proxy form.

Soccer Learning University
Club presidents, board members, coaches, administrators and other volunteers are invited to participate in the inaugural Wisconsin Soccer Learning University being held in conjunction with the WYSA AGM.
Educational sessions will include:

· WYSA: How we fit into the world of soccer (Peter Mariahazy)
· Board Governance & Fiduciary Responsibilities (Chris Lay)
· State League Placement: Policies & Procedures (Pat Hodgins, Scott Suprise and Terry Donini)
· Academy Style Youth Training (Jim Launder and Craig Carlson)
· Futsol Demo (Keith Tozer, U.S. Futsal National Team Head Coach)
WYSA Soccer Learning University Schedule
LeagueOne Demonstration
Technical staff from The Active Network will be attending the WYSA AGM to present educational sessions on the LeagueOne registration software. Two learning opportunities will be available three times throughout the day. Club Presidents, registrars and other representatives are invited to sign up for any of these six, forty-five minute sessions:
Session 1 – 09:00am (Scheduling Demo)
Session 2 – 09:45am (Registration Refresher and New Releases)
Session 3 – 10:30am (Scheduling Demo)
Session 4 – 11:15am (Registration Refresher and New Releases)
Session 5 – 01:00pm (Scheduling Demo)
Session 6 – 01:45pm (Registration Refresher and New Releases)
The Scheduling Demo will provide users with a brief how-to on the scheduling tool including Location and Schedule Management. Location Management covers creating/adding locations (local versus shared), editing locations (availability or blackout dates and overlapping locations), and location reporting. Schedule Management consists of adding/editing a schedule, schedule settings (locations, teams, availability dates, blackout dates and game standings), scheduling groups, scorekeeper management and the schedule generation process. The floor will be open for questions and answers following the demonstration.
The Registration Refresher and New Release session will cover player registration and maintaining player information (editing division, age group, etc), as well as an overview of the newly released Fees and Collections section, and options for payment plans. The floor will be open for questions and answers following the demonstration.
Brooke Kirkpatrick, the Wisconsin Account Executive, will be on site with exhibitors to answer questions about ClubReg.
